Check out this site's new frequently asked questions section for in-depth answers to questions about faith, Lutheranism, and the Bible, such as "What is the Holy Spirit?" and "What do Lutherans teach about angels?" Aid Association for Lutherans and Lutheran Brotherhood have joined to create the largest fraternal benefit society in the nation, Thrivent Financial for Lutherans. Together, as one organization, we will have the resources to serve Lutherans—their families, communities and churches—better than ever before. We are proud of our Lutheran tradition and our Christian values, the same tradition and values that are at the foundation of our new combined organization. Together, we will be able to serve more people and meet more needs.

The Benefit Bank helps low-income individuals and families in Florida, Kansas, and Pennsylvania. Members work with a counselor to file federal and state taxes, register to vote, and apply for benefits such as food stamps, child health insurance, child-care subsidies, Medicaid, pharmaceutical coverage for the elderly, and energy assistance.
